- What excites you most about Genius Hour?
-What progress have you made so far with your project?
- What excites me most about genius hour is knowing that I have time to learn more about a certain topic that I have always been interested in. I love reading but not when we HAVE to do it every Friday in English class, i would much rather being doing something that will better me in the long run. Hopefully I can accomplish everything I need to accomplish by the time I need to do my speech, or whatever I decide to do to help educate people about Psychology. In a couple months I will be doing an interview with someone with a Psychology major to better help understand other aspects of Psychology.
- Not much is concerning to me at this point, minus the fact that I'm probably going to have to talk in front of people about my topic. Public speaking is SO not my thing. I hope that when it comes time for me to speak in front of people about my topic that I don't forget a lot of what I'm going to be talking about, or that i don't get topics confused. When I say there's a lot of information.. I mean there is A LOT to take in. It would be much easier if I could pick one topic and talk about it one week at a time, rather than 15 different topics all at one time... (and let's be real here who wants to sit through that much talking.)
-What progress have you made so far with your project?
- I have made little progress, only because there is literally so much to research, it makes it seem like i haven't made much progress. With such a wide variety of things to talk about it makes it hard to get a lot done all at once. When researching one topic, I often get side tracked by looking at a different topic that relates to the current topic. When you hear the term "Psychology," a lot of different diseases and such run through your mind. The more I research the more i realize there are way more diseases than I could ever imagine.
