There is so much I could tell you about the vegetarian lifestyle, and that's what I'm here to do. Being vegetarian has it's perks, but like everything else, there is a negative factor. I could tell you about the funny looks I get from waiters when I go to a Buffalo Wild Wings... and order a salad. I could also tell you rude things people say to me, but that's not worth my time. It takes a lot to find something you love in this world, and being vegetarian is something that I absolutely love. I don't try to make others feel bad about the animals they are eating, but it's kind of my job here. Often people ask me "What's the point of raising an animal if you're not going to eat?" Uh, well, what is the point in raising a child, if you aren't going to raise it properly. It is quite the hypocritical question to ask someone who is so passionate about saving animals. I'm also told way too much that "one person can't make a difference." Actually, you're wrong. By being vegetarian for 13 months ( 4/27/15) I have successfully saved 269 animals, I have no eaten over 260 lbs. of meat, and I also have not released 2,145 pounds of CO2 into the atmosphere. I am so proud of this. and these numbers are just going to keep rising. It honestly is not hard to live the vegetarian lifestyle at all, and I love in a family who LOVES meat, so of course I'm the black sheep of the family. It doesn't even occur to me that i'm meat free, because it feels like I've been doing this my whole life, and i actually plan to do this for the rest of my life.
